If this webbing is used as a slackline, we recommend not to put more than 7kN tension on it. We also prohibit a tension over 10kN for safety reasons. (10kN of tension would be a 80kg person in the middle of a 100 meter long webbing with a sag of at least 2 meter).

Flat webbing is much different to a tubular webbing, especially in 25mm width. Many slackliners like the smooth and soft feel compared to to other options. Flat slackline webbing:

• won’t roll up to a round profile shape like a hose or pipe
• is much easier to put tension on compared to a tubular shape
• is lighter than tubular webbing
• and needs less space in your backpack – perfect for tramping and hiking!

The webbing can be used with a ratchet tension system, pulley, or primitive slackline tension system. This 25mm flat webbing is also perfect for a Rodeo Slackline, which simply gets tied with knots onto a tree to walk, sit, surf, or lie in it like in a hammock.
